There are many things I enjoy in life, and being a mother is one of them. Although, I wish someone could have warned me about all of the worry and concern that comes with motherhood. I know understand why my mother started turning gray at 35! But, honestly, it’s an enormous blessing, and not a day goes by that I’m not thankful. Now, though, my husband and I are starting to go over the different types of insurance policies that we can get for our kids. There are a lot of companies and a lot of option, and we want the right one for us.

November 11 is the day that many nations celebrate Veterans‘ Day. Some countries such as the United Kingdom call this day Armistice Day or Remembrance Day, denoting the end of World War I. In the United States, Veteran’s Day is considered both a federal and a state holiday. It was proclaimed and signed into law by President, Dwight D. Eisenhower in 1954 to observe and give honor to the military veterans and soldiers who served and sacrificed for the country. People have different ways of commemorating this special day for the country’s servicemen and women. Each state organizes different programs in remembering the country’s soldiers such as parades, giving recognition and awards.

Have you ever hear of the temple for the performing arts? It is just what it sounds like, a temple where the arts are performed. It’s lots of fun watching paintings dance and sing. The sculptures do a lively dance or two and then there is a grand finale. I took a date there once and she said it was the best show she had ever seen. She wanted me to invite a couple of friends to go with us next time. She likes to share the treasures we find for entertainment around here. I guess I really do too!
