Fireworks

I had a great 4th of July this year with lots of family and friends.  I spent the day helping my friends get their house ready so they can move into it next week.  After that, I went over to my friend’s house, who is a San Francisco Web Designer, and ate food and had a few drinks and blew up some stuff.  All of that was so much fun. Because it rained just a little during the day, the church’s fireworks (and the city’s) were moved until the following day.  So, we had two whole days of fireworks.  I kind of like the idea of two days of fireworks.

Brisbane Pest Control And The Mouse House

Every night shortly after we went to bed we could hear a noise coming from the directions of our shower.   When I would get up and turn on the light the noise would stop but I did notice that our cat was taking up a permanent position in front of the shower.  I crawled around it several times but could never get the noise to come out when the lights were on.   When I called Brisbane Pest Control they came out to investigate.   It seems a family of field mice had taken up residence in the wall and were busy expanding it to meet their needs.

Wondering if We Should Get a Kitchens Lighting Makeover

We just did some work in our kitchen. We replaced our counters and our cabinets. It all looks really nice, however it seems a bit dark in there now since we bought slightly darker cabinets. We are wondering if we should get a kitchens lighting makeover. We have some lights in the ceiling now, but we are wondering if they are in the wrong place or maybe we do not have enough of them, or perhaps they are the wrong lights altogether. I think I will look online to see what ideas I can find and then maybe hire someone to change things around a bit.
