The client orders are coming in fast and there is a deadline on each piece we work on to get it out on time for the customer who is waiting for it. We pride ourselves in the fact that we are on time for our ship goals most of the time and that we send out a quality product made by people who take pride in their work. We train them to keep them marketable and to keep us competitive with the other manufacturers around us. The boiler training was worked in our day and we used a class on DVD to make it fit our schedule.

The swap meet I have been going to

Every other Sunday I go down to coffee corner to the swap meet that they have there. I have found over the years that a lot of people in the area bringing some family heirlooms there to sell off. Because I live in the state of Maine I come across some pretty unusual items at times. This past Sunday I went with one of my co-workers named Richard. Richard and I work for a couple of immigration attorneys here in the state of Maine. The majority of our clients are Canadian citizens looking to immigrate to this country. On that particular Sunday I found a very nice grandfather clock.

My business drives me crazy sometimes.  I repair network computers and it seems now a days that everyone is an expert in my field.  Just because you have a computer doesn’t mean you know all the ins and outs of server.  People mess things up all the time and I have to correct the mistakes.  Knowing this in my field and I try to rely on experts in other fields.  For instance I bought a small ford van and with the van I need insurance, instead of just turning to anyone I looked for a company that deals with small van insurance.  I am glad I took my own advice.

I love being a computer programmer.

I was hired by Microsoft to be a computer programmer.  I had to get an H1-B Visa to come to the states to be able to work.  I have helped to develop many different programs that are used on a daily basis by many users.  I am very happy to have the opportunity to see my skills used to the best of their abilities. I feel that I have been able to do more in America than I would have been able to do in my own country. I love my job and am excited for what the future holds.
