Little did I know when I made my application for life insurance that I would still be waiting to put my policy into force six months down the line. The life insurance underwriting process has been particularly long and drawn out for me just because I am awaiting an operation on my knee. I can’t understand how this can prevent them making a decision on whether my life is insurable. I have been patient with them and tried to help as much as I can but with a date for the operation taking so long I am left in a difficult situation where I need the cover but there is just no way that they will make a decision until this has been resolved.

A college project

We had a project to do for one of our classes on patents. We needed to come up with an idea that was able to be patented and then show all of the steps in order to get our product patented. It took me a long time to come up with a product but then I finally decided on a pen that could do everything. The hard part was getting all the forms filled out for the patent. I can definitely see why people hire attorney’s to fill out and file all of the paperwork for them. It can get a bit confusing.

It Is the Off Season

My husband and I run a small bed and breakfast. It is the off season right now so we are making some small changes.
