Almost Every Business Has a Merchant Account

Every business on the street now has a merchant account to ensure them the ability to process transactions from their customers. It’s been a really long time since I have been inside of a business that was not able to process a credit or debit card. Does this mean that I am getting old? Oh my, how times have changed from when I was a teenager! My husband and I still make it a point to carry cash in our pockets while out somewhere though. This is only because we got caught out one time when the store’s credit card machine quit working.
