Should my bankruptcy be on free instant credit reports?

I declared bankruptcy six months ago and have finally been able to stabilize my finances and get back on track. As part of my recovery process I recently got free instant credit reports and was curious to see how the bankruptcy would be reflected on the report and what impact it would have on my credit score. I was surprised to see that the bankruptcy hadn’t even shown up yet and so I was wondering if what I was looking at was actually a current report or one that was very old and of not much use to me at all.
