Time management tips: how to best spend your time

To make the best use of your time it is beneficial to have a clear idea of how you actually spend it so that you can identify areas for improvement in your time management. You may think you do know exactly how you spend your hours but if you take a closer look you will probably surprised at where your time actually goes. For this reason I recommend a time-log as an essential part of good time management tips. So each day you need to write down exactly where your time goes, both at home and at work. Many people feel that time-logs are a waste of time but I assure you they are not, and you only have to do it for a week or two to get an accurate picture of how you spend your time. When you do this for a couple of weeks an look back over how you spent your time you can clearly see which activities are worthwhile and which are a waste of your time.
