Which is the most affordable recruiting software?

I am thinking that it would be much easier to deal with the recruiting for our company if we had some sort of recruiting software that we could use to keep track of all the jobs and all the applicants for those jobs. However, we don’t have a lot of money in the budget for this type of thing, so we are looking for the most affordable software package that would work for our purposes. Can anyone recommend a good, affordable software package for recruitment purposes? This would really help us out a lot. Right now most of our applications are still filed in filing cabinets.
