Will bad credit show up on free instant credit reports?

I think I know that the answer is probably obvious, but I’m hoping against hope that maybe something is a little bit different when you get free instant credit reports versus the reports that you get from the official credit bureaus that are mailed to you. I don’t know why I think they would be any different, but I did hear a rumor from a couple of friends of mine that the information that you get on the online versions of the reports is a little bit different and perhaps a little bit more favorable than what you get from the printed versions.
