Working At A Local Credit Union Has Been A Great Experience

I was hired at a local credit union about seven months ago, i wasn’t a dream job but i was glad to have got it as tamworth sales job vacancies were rare. It was my first ‘real’ job, that includes vacation time, sick leave, and benefits. As a college student, I find myself very lucky to have a job with such great perks, as most students are stuck working for minimum wages in cafes and stores. One of my favourite things about being a teller is that I constantly have opportunities to learn new things, and meet new people. The members of our credit union are great people, who appreciate what we do for the community. Another wonderful aspect of working at this job is that the hours are guaranteed, and consistent. I get to work 20 hours per week, and the shift is always at the same time of day. That makes it really easy for me to plan my class schedule around my work schedule. I’m always home by seven, in time to eat dinner and get all of my homework done. It’s great
