Mosiac art looks wonderful to dress up your garden. I have started becoming a mosiac artist myself working on making my own items. I have now made several stepping stones for my garden. They look amazing with the different colors. The mosiac birdhouse I recently made is amazing. I was very proud of this piece of art. It took me days to finish it, but it looks wonderful. It has vines on the front and a picture of a bird on the side. It is a perfect addition to my garden. Become a mosiac artist, you will enjoy your new found hobby as much as I do.

Michael Jackson - MP3 Music Downloads

Its kind of ironic how sometimes the death of an artist or performer spurs on great interest in his or her music products.  Such is the case with the recently passed Michael Jackson, the former mega superstar with a laundry list of personal troubles.  If you us Amazon or iTunes for your mp3 music downloads, then you will have noticed that Michael Jackon’s back catalog totally dominates the top 20 list.  In fact, his mp3 music downloads sold 2.6 million units for the last week of June alone.  That is an amazing statisitic and just goes to prove the old adage that sometimes you are worth more dead than you are alive.

My Nightly Texting Ban

I hate checking my cellular phone in the morning after what starts as an innocent night out. Many of my close friends have been victims from the dreaded drunk dial in the past. It often made me laough at their stories simply because I just thought, “Why would you do that?” Immediately after developing a similar problem I now feel their discomfort. I come across myself constantly texting everyone following a couple drinks. For the record, I personally believe that my friends are messing with me and sending these crazy messages. It wasn’t me, I swear unless it was a really funny texts for men!!

Ready, Set, Go

Louise and I had made two important decisions on paper for our cards and the cutting tool we would use.  I had to get home and pick the kids up for school.  Our next trip with be to decide on other Card Making Supplies that we will need.  I am just so excited about getting going with this.  When I am excited, I talk and talk and beat a subject to death.  My husband cringes when he sees a certain look in my eye.  He can tell when I am on the hunt and I have thrown my whole body and soul into a project.

About to Go to My First Jazz Guitar Lesson

I really wanted to learn how to play my jazz guitar, and that’s why I signed up for jazz guitar lessons.  It has been something that I have always been meaning to do, but for some reason I just never got around to it.  Now that I am retired I have a lot of time to do all sorts of things like go to guitar lessons.  My first lesson is next week, and I have to honestly say that I am a little nervous.  I know that I’ll be OK, but I just don’t want to make a fool out of myself.

Looking Online for Guitar Lesson Advice

I started taking guitar lessons about a year ago, and I have become very good at playing the guitar.  However, I stopped attending my lessons when I had to move.  There is no place that offers guitar lessons where I live now, and I had to look elsewhere for advice and tips.  The Internet is a great place for people like me.  For example, I just found out how to practice alternate picking by doing an online search.  I can now practice for as long as it takes for me to get it down.  Then, I can go back online and search for what I want to practice next.

The Class Clown

My son loves a good joke and is sometimes referred to as the class clown because he enjoys making others laugh.  He showed me a website online where he found some really funny jokes and we cracked up.  He says that his classmates always ask him to tell more of his jokes and that this is where he finds them.  I thought that they were very funny also and I told him that as long as he does not disrupt the class and get into trouble, it was okay to tell his jokes.  He told me that he wants to be a comedian when he grows up.

Cable is Out - Dish Direct TV is In

My husband has just informed me that we are no longer going to put up with the local television cable system.  He asked me to check out different satellite TV providers and get one installed as soon as possible.  I logged onto the Internet and looked up dish direct tv and noticed that they have great specials for new customers available right now.  It looks as though we can even keep our local channels through the satellite company.  I also like the idea of having over 100 high definition channels.  I contacted their customer service representatives this morning and we are ready to have it installed early next week.

The pop art that is in Richie’s office

Last Friday I went to to a seminar on business and I really liked some of the things I heard. I have been looking for another business to start for the past few months and I wanted to get started right away. The person that brought me to the seminar is named Richie and he is looking for a business himself. I met Richie two months before when I went to his insurance office. His office has a pop art portrait on each wall in his office. He is kind of a lively guy who has a lot of good ideas on business.

Sign Up For Kansas City Dance Lessons Today

My youngest daughter has taken a great interest in ballet and has expressed to me many times that she wants to learn about it.  I know a studio that has weekly kansas city dance lessons, so I am going to sign her up for the  beginner class.  I hope that she enjoys it and sticks with it because I know it can help teach her patience and disciple.  I wish my mother would have done that for me when I was little, so I want to be able to give my daughter this experience.  I know she is going to be truly excited when I tell her about it.
