Oh How We Danced on the Night We Were Wed
September 1st, 2008 by admin
I love the waltz and, since I was a little girl I knew I would one day wear a white dress and be spun around a big dance floor at my wedding.
My ideas about weddings came from the historical novels I read, as well as movies I had seen. I love old-fashioned clothes, manners, and music.
But, when I did get engaged, I realized that in modern times we do not usually get dance lessons while growing up. Still, I wanted my waltz.
So my fiancee and I took bridal dance lessons. We learned the waltz and many other dances.
And, just like in my dreams, I was waltzed around the dance floor in my white dress.

Celebrities
August 26th, 2008 by admin
There is such a huge fascination with celebrities now days. It seems the interest wasn’t this intense years ago, but now it seems that the public has become enthralled with the movie stars and pop stars now more than ever. Everywhere you go you see celebrity pictures plastered on billboards, magazines, bus stops, buses, tv ads, and just about anywhere else you can think of. I think one of the reasons is that the internet has made it easier to read about celebrities, and it boost the public interest in their lives when otherwise the interest may not be as much.

The elusive sound of the Tabla drum
August 25th, 2008 by admin
I love the tabla drums and the sounds that they make. However it has taken my relatives many years to learn the proper way to play these drums. One must remember that the tablas are made up of two different drums. Each drum has its own unique sound, one is like a bass drum and the other like a high pitch drum sound. Many people in the United States crave the sound of the Tabla drums but there are very very few places where one can hear the tabla drums. To make real progress you need to practice constantly and a master teacher will take you to levels that cannot be achieved by yourself alone.

Aftermarket Grilles & Chrome Car Accessories From the USA
August 20th, 2008 by admin
In the 1980s and 90s, it was cheaper to buy cars and chrome car accessories in Canada, even after factoring in the exchange rate. Many US consumers bought their cars in Canada and shipped them south. Up until 2-3 years ago, that is. That’s when the strength of the Canadian dollar started to turn things around. Now, it’s having a huge impact - one that will let you save approximately $8,000 to $12,000 on a $35,000 car. If you are shopping for a high end luxury vehicle, you could save upwards of $25,000! These saving also exist for chrome car accessories, grilles, and other aftermarket parts.

Creative Design Pixels
August 18th, 2008 by admin
Just because everybody’s using it doesn’t mean that you also have to use the font in your brochure printing ads. Raster graphics creates images from simple line arrangements and usually has a bitmap format, where the image is pixelized for creative design (those visible squares that appear when you enlarge a photo). Printing started with several peoples like Egyptians, Assyrians, Samarians and Chinese and other ancient civilizations. First and foremost, site design is critical to the success of your visual identity.

I Think That The Fox Reality TV Shows Are The Best.
August 8th, 2008 by admin
I have to say that I really enjoy watching reality tv shows. Some of my favorites are the Fox reality tv shows like Hell’s Kitchen and American Idol. I think that those are defiantly my all time favorites and I really hope that they never get cancelled. I am not sure what I would do if they ever did. I know that some day it will happen I just like them so much that I don’t really want to think about that. I guess I will find some new ones to love then, after all they do come out with new ones every year.

Getting married
July 29th, 2008 by admin
I just moved to the U.K. to be with my future husband. I used to live in the U.S. and I met him when he was visiting California for a business conference. He had several business trips there, so we kept seeing each other every time he would come for a meeting. Fast forward a year, and now I’m searching for a wedding photographer in Leeds to take our wedding pictures. If you would have asked me a year ago if I would be living in the U.K., I would have said you were crazy. Never mind the fact that now I’m getting married as well. You never know what the future holds.

What type of schooling do you need for a 3D animation career?
July 20th, 2008 by admin
What type of schooling do you need for a 3D animation career? I love animated movies and television shows. They aren’t just for kids anymore. I think I would like to study animation after high school, but I don’t know what type of schooling I would need. Would I attend art school? Do they offer animation as a major? I can draw very well, so that’s a plus. I would love to hear people raving about my animated movies, and as soon as I find out which schools I need to apply to, I will be working toward a career in animation.

Religious tattoos
June 14th, 2008 by admin
When you think about all the religious communities you really have to wonder what the church would think of religious tattoos. Getting cross tattoos would be ok because your showing your love for God and Jesus Christ, and your showing it in perminant ink. I always wondered however if the churches had some concept that made tattoos taboo. I don’t really think this would be true if they did as tattoo’s have been around since forever and their is nothing other than peoples fears that could make them bad or wrong. Their are tattoo’s you can get that are evil but crosses are the signs of love.

A Tattoo artist with no Tattoos.
May 8th, 2008 by admin
Can you imagine that? A tattoo artist who doesnt have any tattoos of their own. Just imagine a person who goes on etching hundreds of tattoos on different people and whose tattoo designs are being used by thousands of people doesnt have a tattoo for herself.
Well, I am talking about one of the most popular tattoo artists, Amy Brown. Yes, she doesnt have a single tattoo on her body. When asked by someone if she had a tattoo, she replied in the negative and said that she was so choosy and picky and still had not found a tattoo that she would like on her body. She further elaborated that she may just get a swirling henna tattoo of one of her designs which are mostly fairy tattoos.
I do hope that she is able to decide on a nice tattoo design for herself. It just seems strange when a tattoo artist doesnt have a tattoo.Good Luck Amy!

Dancewear Takes Off!
May 1st, 2008 by admin
Dance competition costumes are a hit and have always been. Think about how different a performance would be if ballerinas didn’t wear the outfits that they did; if figure skaters didn’t have the outfits that they wore. The problem that professional dancers and figure skaters face is that it is difficult, often times, to find a place where they can purchase dance wear outfits. Most often, performers will hire tailors to make them custom outfits. The problem with this is that it can be expensive. The positive thing, though, is that you will always be guaranteed to get an original and unique costume that no one else will have. The other option that a lot of performes will resort to is they’ll end up trying to put an outfit together themselves simply by shopping around at different stores outside of their industry.

I told my mom they were free guitar licks.
April 12th, 2008 by admin
I did something really bad this weekend. Actually I did two things that were really bad. I stole guitar licks from a local music store. Then, I lied to my mom and told her they were free guitar licks. An elderly gentleman was working at the music store, and I took advantage of the situation. When my mom asked me where I got them, I couldn’t tell her the truth, so I told her they were free. I told her I won a drawing at the music store for free guitar licks. She would kill me if she found out the truth. I feel so guilty about it, I can’t even play them on my guitar.
