My best friend Tina is a writer and part-time movie critic.  Although she loves her career, she is the first to admit that it keeps her sitting at a computer, sometimes for twelve hours a day.  Tina does not stop for meals when she has a deadline.  Instead she grabs whatever is nearby.  Eventually she gained thirty pounds and needed a way to get the weight off.  I told her I had heard good things about Fat Loss 4 Idiots, so she tried it.  A few weeks later she called me and said that if she had to review her new diet program she would definitely give it two thumbs up.  She had lost ten pounds already.

Getting Caught Up in it All

A few nights ago, my girlfriends and I were staying up late talking about our classes, and a TV show came on VHI about this family called the Kardashians.  We had never seen it before, so we all tuned in to see what it was all about.  Before I knew it I had been sucked in to reading the Kim Kardashian blog every day.  In fact, I check it out more than I check my facebook.  That is saying a lot.  I just get so caught up in all the things that she is doing.  I think that I need a break from it.

She Doesn’t Cry

My best friend has a habit of showing up at my house at all hours. So when she knocked on my door first thing this morning, I didn’t think anything of it. But then I noticed that she had been crying. I immediately got alarmed, because she just doesn’t cry. When I asked her what was wrong, she gave me the shocking news that her husband had left her that morning. He told her out of the blue that he didn’t love her and never had. Then he walked out the door and told her he was never coming back. They have two children, but it didn’t seem to matter to him. He left them, too, without another thought.

Hurricane Forums Have Been Helpful

My wife and I got married and moved to southeast Florida after I graduated from the university.  I had a job offer that was very appealing so we packed up after our honeymoon and made the move.  My bride was so caught up in the wedding plans and the excitement of buying a house that she never gave any thought to the possibility of being hit by a hurricane.  When she realized this she was pretty upset and scared.  We found a few hurricane forums that have helped us to prepare in case there is a hurricane.  It helped to read stories posted by people that have been through hurricanes and come out of them just fine.

I found it to be very helpful in evaluating different health and beauty products. Some of these products are just junk wrapped in a pretty box and sold using fancy marketing techniques, but this website includes consumer comments so you really get a feel as to whether or not the products actually work. I was thinking about trying one of those new lip plumpers callede Cushy Lips, but after reading the comments, I decided it probably wasn’t going to be worth the money. Glad I checked it out first.
