There’s no doubting that a good 3 phase generator will sort out a lot of problems in a workshop. It you are running heavy equipment that must produce a lot of power to perform at its peak, then you must get three phase current to them. Do that, and the machines will purr along at optimum efficiency and you will notice two things. First, your equipment will last longer. When it is under-powered and running on single phase current, machinery doesn’t run well. So it under-forms. Also, it will break down quicker. So when you set up a phase converter, perhaps a rotary phase converter, you will save your business money in the long run.
