Can you make someone love you?

I do not feel there is anything a person can do to make someone else love them.   I use to read magazine articles on how to make my husband love me and then I realized that the love has to come from within and can not be pushed into a person.   I live my life taking one hundred per cent of the responsibility for the love in our relationship and do not try to force him to do anything.   In living my life this way I have given him the space to show his love for me and he never fails to do this.
