Vertical Sleeve Gastrectomy Changed My Friend’s Life

Growing up I had several friends who were on the obese side. One friend, my best-friend, in particular gained weight each year and was diagnosed as obese in high school. Classmates made fun on him and I felt really bad that they treated him that way. I remained friends with him after high school and he underwent a procedure called vertical sleeve gastrectomy. After the procedure, he looked amazing! He lost all the weight and changed his lifestyle. At our ten year reunion, all the women were attracted and flirting with him. They were shocked at his appearance, and also that he was my husband.
