A Good Day at the Thrift Store

I love thrift sales for a variety of reasons. First, I find a lot of really interesting things that other people believe is junk. Second, every once in awhile, a savvy person like me finds an amazing deal hiding amidst the clutter. One particular day, behind a whole bunch of other furniture, I found a Bertoia chair. That’s right…and not just any style. This was a Bertoia diamond lounge chair. The price was marked at fifteen dollars! I could not believe my eyes. I had to look again to make sure that I was not mistaken. Those chairs sell for over three hundred dollars in retail stores, sometimes even more now that the originals are becoming more difficult to find. That’s what we call a good day at the thrift store!
