Greenhouses are most often used for growing fruits, flowers, and vegetables. Two main types of greenhouses are plastic and glass. Plastic greenhouses are easy to install and affordable. These types of greenhouses are made up of a plastic roof, walls, and window panes. Most smaller greenhouses are made with plastic and are popular because the heat loss is relatively low, they are shatterproof and impervious to hailstones. You may want to design your greenhouse with metal supports to add strength.
Whether it is plastic or glass, greenhouses are still the best way to protect your plants from the outside temperatures and insects.
