Well, when a client is thinking about moving away, I always ALWAYS recommend equity release mortgages if they want to keep their house at home and still afford a property elsewhere. Why? Because of the flexibility that equity release mortgages provides those who need money and they need money fast. Equity release mortgages will give you cash for your house without you having to sell your house therefore enabling you to have two different homes in which to live.
