Tiffany lamps were first created by Louis Tiffany. He was an American artist who worked in the decorative arts and best known for his work in stained glass. The Tiffany lamp is an all American design which has contributed so much to the Art Nouveau movement in Europe. Its distinctive stained glass design sets it apart from other lighting fixtures. Their elegant designs are inspired by the creator’s love of nature. The stained glasses are intricately glued together with botanical and floral designs. Tiffany lighting fixtures are at the top of the lighting fixture industry. These have become the epitome of elegance and are timeless creations made for the home. Tiffany lamps go beyond function, they have become art in itself. In fact, a number of Tiffany lamps collections are displayed in museums all over the United States.
