When in Italy hotels add to the atmosphere of antiquity and charm. When I looked at www.cheaperthanhotels.co.uk, the hotels were 3 and 4 star accommodations. Pisa is located in Tuscany, in central Italy, on the right bank of the Arno River. The Villa Maya Hotel Pisa and its park date back to the 18th century and are set in the Pisan hills with ancient villages and historic towns. The villa and park have been meticulously restored to their original quality. It is located near Pisa and the airport. Other interesting sites are Knight’s Square, the church oif St. Stephen Cavaleri, the church of St Sixtus.
