Lovable Yorkshire Terriers

August 4th, 2010 by admin

When you decide to purchase yorkshire terriers the most crucial decision is whether or not to purchase a male or female. Knowing the different characteristics between the two will enable you to make a decision and make the best choice.

One of the most obvious characteristic is that a male Yorkshire Terrier is somewhat larger than the female and may tend to eat a lot more than a female. Males will also be a few inches taller and in some instances more independent and aggressive.

Female Yorkies are somewhat smaller, way less aggressive and come into heat twice yearly. Owners can also find that females are easier to train than males.

In general, whether male or female, Yorkshire Terriers can prove to be a loyal friend to anyone.
