lost my droid

Since I run a blog on cell phones and GPS devices, I get asked questions about what to do if you have a lost cell phone.  I’ve posted guides on tracking a lost droid and tracking a lost iphone on the site if you’re interested, but the important thing to note here is that you do need to be a bit proactive and plan to lose it.  You’ll need to install apps on each phone or in the case of an iPhone you’d need to have a mobileme account which is kind of pricey if you ask me.  You can get an app called where’s my droid for Android or use one of the many iphone apps available for remote tracking in the event of a lost or stolen phone.
