Fencing Gloves

Choosing a fencing glove for your striking hand would seem like an easy task. Just find a glove that your fingers fit in right? Wrong. The glove needs to give you adequate protection by extending up your hand, over, your wrist, and up your forearm to your weapon. You also need to search for a glove that a perfect thickness. If it does not have enough padding, you will end up with blisters and calluses. If it is too thick you will not be able to “feel” your weapon well. Be sure to buy your glove from a reputable store with employees who have adequate knowledge of their products.
