Increase Vertical with Calf Raises

There are people in a wide variety of sports who want or need to be able to jump vertically at a maximum height. But how do you increase vertical jumping height in order to achieve this goal? One of the best exercises you can do is calf raises. They are a very simple exercise, but they can put you on the floor (literally) if you try to more than your body is ready for. If you do them in sets of 10, you will be able to better gauge when your legs have had enough. Start small and build up. It is also better to do them all throughout the day, rather than trying to do 300 all at the same time.
