She Has Been Begging For a Phone

My daughter has been asking for a cellular phone ever since she was ten years old. I resisted for a long time, because I was afraid that she would be on it late at night. I also didn’t want her texting things to friends that I wouldn’t approve of or spending too much time talking to boys. Now that she is sixteen and has her driver’s license, though, I am going to have to give in. She needs to be able to call someone if her car breaks down. I hope I can find a company with good cell phone coverage, so she will never be without service.
