The Wii Speak confirmation code caused quite a stir in the video gaming community as people felt that Nintendo was cutting off their ability to re sell something they don’t like. That is true because used game sales can really hurt the industry. That is not to say however that used games will pose a big problem in the future because advertising should take a bigger role in video games. Nintendo DS News reported that Nintendo has apparently rescinded their draconian rules applying to the Wii Speak because now the confirmation code is actually replaceable if lost.
